What Is HOME STAR?
HOME STAR is legislation to distribute nearly $9 billon in home performance incentives for residential energy efficiency improvements. Contractors who are prepared to meet this need will be in high demand. The program as proposed will be administered largely by existing state agencies, and will be subject to specific criteria you'll need to understand. There are two paths to choose for a HOME STAR project - Silver Star or Gold Star. Performance Systems Development supports the coalition efforts of Efficiency First in promoting HOME STAR.
Get Ready Now -- once HOME STAR is adopted, the program is designed to begin very quickly.

What Is GOLD STAR?

GOLD STAR contractors must be BPI-accredited, and auditors must be BPI- or RESNET-certified (or approved equivalent).
